ADMISSION INTO IT or BIFOCAL SUBJECTS (CS or EL)

 

  1. We offer the option of Bifocal Vocational subjects Computer Science (CS) or Electronics (EL) to students admitted into the Science Aided or Science Unaided Stream. Available seats are limited.

  2. We offer the option of Information Technology (IT) subject to students admitted into the Science Aided or Science Unaided or Commerce Unaided Stream. Available seats are limited.

  3. After securing admission into Std. 11, students who wish to apply for IT or Bifocal Vocational subjects (Computer Science or Electronics) must come to College and submit a Physical Application form to the IT and Bifocal subjects Admission Committee. There are separate forms for separate subjects

  4. Std. 11 admission into IT (Science Aided), IT (Commerce Unaided) and Bifocal Computer Science (Science Aided) subjects is by merit and subject to availability of remaining vacant seats. Therefore, only those applicants whose names appear in the merit list can secure their admission for these subjects by paying the additional subject fees within the stipulated notice time. Students failing to pay additional subject fees within the stipulated time will lose their claim over these seats.

  5. Std. 11 admission into IT (Science Unaided), Bifocal Computer Science (Science Unaided), Electronics (Science Unaided) and Electronics (Science Aided)  subjects is on First-come First Serve basis and subject to availability of remaining vacant seats. Therefore, applicants whose names appear in the valid list of valid applicants can secure their admission for these subjects by paying the additional subject fees within the stipulated notice time. Students failing to pay additional subject fees within the stipulated time may lose their claim over these seats.

  6. Admission into IT or Bifocal Vocational subjects cannot be sought by following regular change of subject procedure.

  7. Computer Science/Electronics either of these subjects replace second language (Marathi, Hindi) as well as Biology whereas IT is in lieu of Second Language

  8. Those students who have applied for Vocational subjects or I.T. and fail to secure a seat in the same will automatically be considered for General Science/Commerce. There is no need to apply separately again.
